The Point At Poipu
The Point At Poipu is located along the Pe'e Road at Koloa and is close to the southernmost tip of the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It overlooks the Shipwreck Beach and the southernmost tip can provide you with exceptional scuba diving and snorkeling experiences.

The Point At Poipu has 215 available suites in 10 buildings ranging in height from two stories to three stories in an area of 22 acres. There are three kinds of vacation areas, where one is located in the middle of the lagoon pool, another is found in the bluff, and the third is designated as the adults-only area. The buildings located at the bluff provide you will unique views of humpback whales during their migration in the winter.
The lagoon swimming pool has a grotto tub on one side and a sandy beach on the other. A gigantic hot tub for adults only had been constructed in a private area that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A sun deck encircles the hot tub and there are barbecue grills in some areas. The room decorations are based on the Hawaiian style and every suite is provided with a complete kitchen. All rooms have cable and satellite television; CD player; videocassette recorder; video game console; two telephones; carpeted living area; air-conditioned bedrooms; ceiling fans in other rooms; voice mail; balcony; hair dryer; clock radio; Internet access; pay movies; ironing board and iron; in-room safe; housekeeping services; and crib when requested.

When you get hungry you may want to try the Poolside Grill, which is an open-air restaurant that is located right next to the lagoon pool. Breakfast usually consists of Belgian waffles and omelets, while lunch and dinner may offer some salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and tropical drinks.
Another place to go for dining is the Poipu Bay Grill and Bar, which is found at Ainako Road, Poipu, Koloa. You can enjoy the beautiful views of the Poipu Bay Golf Course while you are eating. You may also want to try the Tidepools restaurant that offers Hawaiian seafood at the Hyatt Regency Kauai along Poipu Road, Koloa.
If you prefer American cuisine, you can try the Plantation Gardens Restaurant and Bar also at Poipu Road, Poipu, Koloa. The menu is based on the food served in the sugar plantations of Hawaii. All of the vegetables utilized in the menus are organically grown.
