For dining, guests may enjoy the assorted continental American and Pacific cuisine while gazing at the breathtaking view of the volcano. Signature cocktails are also served in Uncle George's Lounge, while lighter fare and snacks are available in the Snack Bar.

Rates run at a discount of as low as $59 per night for guests staying in consecutive nights in some rooms. Volcano House Hotel also offers five nights stay at different rooms inclusive of 11.42% room tax. There’s the Ohia Wing room offering the lowest rate of $715.00 for five nights for its guests; the non-crater view room for $1,015.00; the crater view room for $1,210.00; and the deluxe crater view room for $1,345.00 for five nights.
There is also the Volcano Hale offering $62 per night; Lokahi Lodge $89 per night of stay. During some seasons, rates can go for about $138 and $145 per night. A one-night deposit is required when reservations are made and 3-days cancellation notice is required for refunds, while multiple reservations are subject to a longer cancellation notice. And since Volcano House is located within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a park entrance fee of $10.00 will apply upon reservation, which is good for 7 days.
